Description

Navy wool formal military jacket with black lining, tails, brass buttons, velvet trim. Nine brass buttons down front, with American eagle and "E Pluribus Union" design, smaller brass buttons of same design on each cuff. Upright collar velvet with metal braiding and sequins of foliate pattern. False rear pockets. Cuffs also of velvet with same adornment. Thickly padded in front of breast. Yellow (discolored) lining in upper body. Condition: Extensive bug damage, especially to tails and front of jacket. Discoloration of velvet trim and metal braiding.
