Description

A. Coiled snake wraps its tail around a crane's neck. The coils in the snake are used as a support for the lamp. The crane unfolds its wings and stands atop an oak stump which has two stems of leaves and acorns. The trunk is atop a six-leafed palm motif. Below this is a cylinder and reel. Below that three large and three small acanthus leaves splay out from the three larges leaves, three horned rams' heads; beneath the heads are legs and cloven hooves. B. The lamp has two wick spots on either end; there is a wick in one of them. The center where the oil is placed has two concentric concave circles surrounding it. At the ends of the wick spots are two small swans that are facing each other and their necks provide the loop for the chain that supports the lamp. The chain is 6 1/2" long; the base of the lamp is a disc shape. C. 6 1/2" long chain with wick adjuster. This is of a forked shape with only two tines.
