Description

Sepia watercolor on paper of Old Dutch Church: view of the church is from the southwest; bell tower, gambrel roof, facade of church, open front door, and steps visible; trees and bushes on the South side of the church obscure windows and rear of church; white picket fence with large posts runs from the church south along the road with several small bushes before it; a tree dominates the lower right corner; two young, bare trees grow before the church; to the north of the building a stone wall which runs along the road contains the cemetery; grass and small trees grown in a patch contained by stones in the lower left corner; scribbled in pencil on back "Jordan Yam Jk?." Marked 20- on mat.
