a. Hand-colored lithographic print of the old Dutch Church of Sleepy Hollow with people and a horse-drawn cart in front: in the foreground is a sand-colored road; on the left is a group of people: a woman in a brown skirt and yellow jacket is sitting on the edge of the road holding a bouquet of flowers; a girl in a blue dress, white jacket, yellow cap, white drawers, and black boots is standing near her, giving her a flower; to their right is a man in brown suit and hat, holding a walking stick, and a woman in a bluish-grey jacket, pink skirt and yellow cap, walking towards the church; to the right of the road is a group of trees; the church occupies the left half of the print; it is brick colored with a grey roof. It has an arched door and two arched windows; there is a fence going in two directions from the church's front; some gravestones and several trees are behind the fence on the left; to the right of a house on the road is a horse-drawn cart with two men in it; the road goes to the horizon. In the background are houses, trees, fences, and bridges; the sky is colored peach-pink with blue at the top; "Sleepy Hollow Church, near Tarrytown, N.Y. Palmer, del."
