a. Painting: Painting of a house in a field with a sunset. The paint is applied thickly and the brush stroke is very evident. The foreground is of green fields or grass. The house is saltbox shape with a porch on the front. Vague trees surround the house and a hill goes up on the left. The sun sets between the hill and house; the clouds are dark. The painting looks impressionistic. The colors that dominate are blues and green.
a. Frame: Wooden frame frames the painting and is painted gold and unadorned. Two eyehooks are attached to the back and a cloth rope holds it up.
