Curatorial Remarks

Note

Kate Johnson, HHV Curator, identified the current faux marble disc top as a substitute for another top, which is now stored elsewhere at MP. This substitution was done to allow stable display of portrait bust of Edward Livingston in the Parlor. When original top is found, it should be made a separate component for this object [Jessa J. Krick, 12/16/2009]
