Regular, rectangular stock; simple curved toat; flat sole; stenciled on proper left side: "M"; stamped on front: "OGNOTZ TOOL CO." and illegible number; handwritten inside wedge well, in pencil: "2". b. U-shaped wedge;squared-off points at ends; handwritten in pencil on back: "12".

Remarks: Wear overall to surfaces, edges and corners; (a.) losses to surface at front top edge and bottom edge; 2" splintered split in proper left side along long top edge; chips in top edge at wedge opening; old chip in rabbit in wedge opening; small horizontal gash is proper right side middle; some discoloration or old water damage to top surface and proper right side lower middle; (b.) wear to front side edges, especially at proper left and at center of wedge; center of wedge has light splitting; light splitting along square points where they meet body of wedge, 3/4" on proper left side, 1/2" proper right side; wear and losses to ends of points.
