Description

White oval unornamented graniteware platter: colorless glaze also covers bottom of platter; flat base, no foot; four stilt marks (from firing) on bottom of platter; inscription: mark on bottom of platter in black: depiction of eagle in circular center of many pointed shield, decorated w/leaves connecting the shield points. Printed above shield in semi-circle: "WARRANTED". Under shield in straight lines: "K.T. & K. GRANITE". Marks on bottom:"Knowles, Taylor & Knowles."
