Description

a-b. Pair of platters: medium-small porcelain service platter, octagonal in shape and rectangular in configuration with a wide flaring rim; the outer edge of which has been gilded; a broad band of buff-colored glaze has been applied to the interior surface of the flared rim its bottom edge delineated by gilt bands; the well of the platter reveals the white porcelain body, which has been decorated at its mid-point with a hand painted floral spray, the predominant colors of which are pink, lavender, and blue surrounded by green leafage.
