Description

Glass punch cup with hexagonal base and wide side facets with applied handle: top rim is round, then five concave facets continue down sides of cup to form irregular hexagonal bottom; (Sixth side is convex, no facet, and glass handle is attached to this side); underside of cup has shallow concavity measuring 1 1/8" in diameter; applied handle is "question-mark" shaped, with an irregular "squiggly" tail; concentric semi-circular ripples in glass can be seen extending on facets from base 3/4" up cup.

Remarks: Details of condition: Tails of handles of cups varied--could not be determined if the curliqued extended tails were broken off (of MP.93.26, .28, .32, .33, .34, .35, .36, .37, .38) or if that was the original condition of the cup. All cups had rough edges on tails of handles. Cups with full tail: .31, .27, .29, .39, .30.
