Puzzle jug: handled; spout; vertical rectangular openings; inner channels for fluid; round holes and indentations, one opening into interior; yellow glaze, with brown sgraffito decorations of zig-zags, vines, and inscription "Pray drink your fill but Do not Spill/for I Shall take it Very ill/ June 16, 1787."
