Green leather scrapbook containing award certificates, identification labels, judges' remarks, and professional photographs of Violetta White Delafield's competition Ikebana and other floral arrangements and exhibits, 50 paper pages hand numbered in ink and bound with green cord, some pages with annotations in ink: page 44 with colored-pencil drawing of floral arrangement; photographs on pages 19, 20, 26, and 28 depict exhibits that incorporate Violetta's wayside stand; certificates, labels, and photographs from International Flower Show, Horticultural Society of New York, Dutchess County Fair, City Gardens Club, New York World's Fair 1939-1940, Millbrook Garden Club; most competitions entered on behalf of the Millbrook Garden Club; some photographs stamped on reverse, "SEAF PHOTO SERVICE / Stamford, Conn." (or similar text), another "PHOTOGRAPHED BY / HERBERT STUDIOS / GRAND CENTRAL PALACE / NEW YORK;" some certificates and photographs detached; also inserted in book: newspaper clipping, Dutchess County Fair ribbon, Twenty-ninth Annual International Flower Show label, note addressed to Mrs. Delafield on blue stationary, black and white photograph of floral arrangement on pedestal.
