Description

Dish is part of a set of four, which, when assembled together, make a circle of approximately 22" in diameter with a center opening of approximately 6 1/2" A. Dish: Crescent-shaped white dish has 1/4" wide gold line painted around rim, narrow gold line painted about 1" in from rim on inside, and two narrow gold lines painted on outside, one about 1/2" from rim and one just above base. Condition: Gold paint on rim is worn away in several places. Other gold lines show some signs of wear. Small (1/8") chip on underside of outside rim could be manufacturing defect. Unglazed portion of base (where it rests on table) is soiled. B. Lid: Crescent-shaped white lid with four painted lines which follow its shape. These lines vary in width, with the narrowest approximately 1/16" wide and the widest approximately 3/8" wide. Knob handle on top is flower-shaped and painted gold. Condition: Some scratching/rubbing on gold trim. One corner has a groove where trim, glaze, and some of the ceramic is rubbed away. This area is soiled, as is underside of rim where unglazed surface rests on bowl.
