Description

Leather bullet pouch with brass measuring spout and metal triangular hook on the bottom. The front of the pouch pictures a man in a kilt blowing a horn with a dead deer at his feet and two dogs at his sides. Above him it says, "G.& J.M. Hawksley, Sheffield." At the rim of the pouch near the spout it is stamped with a "4 6 4". The brass spout measures, in ounces, the amount of buckshot to be used before loading it into the gun. The front of the spout is marked "1 1/2" or "1 1/4"; it is set to measure out 1 1/2 oz. After the shot is measured, it is released by depressing the thumb release. This pouch is full of buckshot.
