Note

This sketch depicts the draperies installed at Montgomery Place about 1840-1850 by Louise Livingston. It is uncertain when the draperies were removed from the windows, possible in the late 19th or early 20th century, but the draperies (as well as hardware, tiebacks, cornices and other parts of the window treatments) survive in the collection.
