MP.94.1277Description
A black and white engraving of "St. Bartholomew's Church" as seen from the southwest. The west facade is simple and classically inspired. The porch is held by two Doric columns, flanked on either side by a pilaster; a bare masonary wall and another pilaster at this corner. The pediment has a triglyph and metope frieze that extends around the whole building. The tower mimicks the facade and terminates in a weathervane. The nave has six tall rectangular windows, interspersed with pilasters. People gather in the street in the foreground.Artwork Details
