Description

Small walnut candlestick table (or pedestal side table) with a slight scalloped edge; top gives way to ornamented fluted apron with alternating stamped Greek cross; columnar pedestal base with a square into a cylinder with a bun split in the center narrowing into a slender urn shape; cross-markings encompass the pedestal followed by two thick incised grooves and another row of crosses tapering into a small neck, another flattened bun with more crosses, another small bun, cylinder, and split horizontal bun followed by a square; four brackets hold the pedestal upright; brackets are affixed to the four legs making a cross; outer points are concavely carved.
