Description

One of a pair of half-round tables with Italian marble tops, four tapering legs and semi-circular base which forms shelf: wide band of veneer runs around front and sides of table top (brass-plated half round at top and stringing on top edge of base; marble tops with painted and composition inlaid designs differ: .71 has white background with blue band which echoes shape of edge but also loops around itself; black ribbon laces around band; bouquet of flowers tied together with white ribbon; pine band and glue blocks support marble top; back of top section of oak; back of base appears to be mahogany; illegible inscription on bottom of top of .71.
