A Chinese black lacquered table. The top surface is decorated in gold with a Chinese family genre scene of two women at a table with three men surrounding them. Chinese buildings in the back are complemented by the landscape. A Chinese floral pattern surrounding the center (a vignette), then a light and heavy line encompasses that. The four turned legs meet the top with a bulbous swelling; the back two legs are connected at the base with an arched slat. The legs meet an arched foot which connect the right and left legs together.
