Description

A curved edge teacup of white porcelain with gilded decoration. A center underglazing is pink, with the gold and copper, with relief underneath of beads and triangular shapes. The handle is an ear-shaped rococo handle. The lip of the cup is gilded with a small dot pattern inside the cup. There is a foliate ornamentation of a rococo style with a diaper pattern between the foliage. This is all overglazed over the color; beneath this a border of solid gild stripe and then a small floral pattern. The base has a gold band too. The gilt is lace-like in pattern.
