Description

Two monochromatic lithographs: The first depicting a crowd of people in front of a large, two winged building with American flags flying over each. On the building over the porch it reads "The Last Naval Engagement Between Columbia and Britain." A grand display of fireworks are exploding in the sky. In front of the doorway is a radiant, glowing cross. The second lithograph, which is upside down to the first, depicts a group of soldiers pulling a rowboat to shore. On land, a cap't takes his cap off and holds both his arms outstretched to the sky. In the distance are large sailing ships. Both prints are framed by a thin grey band.
