General Note

Note

This map definitely comes from Beers, Ellis & Soule's Atlas of New York and Vicinity, 1867 or 1868. It is thought that identical maps were given different page numbers in different editions of each atlas, which is why this map of Greenburgh appears with page numbers 7, 8 and 9, for example. This particular map does not appear in either the 1872 edition of the atlas, or in the 1872 Atlas of the County of Westchester.
