General Note

Note

This map definitely comes from Beers, Ellis & Soule's Atlas of New York and Vicinity, 1867 or 1868. It is thought that identical maps were given different page numbers in different editions, which is why we were not able to locate the exact map in the atlases in local collections. This particular map does not appear in the 1872 edition of the atlas, nor in the 1872 Atlas of the County of Westchester.
