Description

Porcelain trays, small, octagonal in shape and rectangular in configuration: wide flaring rim the outer edge of which is gilded; a broad band of buff-colored glaze has been applied to the interior surface of the rim, its inner edge also delineated by gilt bands; the well of the tray reveals the white porcelain body, and is decorated with a hand painted floral spray, (each of the three trays displays a somewhat different floral arrangement) of yellow and violet tulips, pink roses, white daisies and lavender asters, as well as other small blooms in shades of purple and violet surrounded by green leafage; painted underneath in pale gold: "8ub" (8ub) Impressed: "D 10 S" on underside deep dish with flaring rim.
