Description

White porcelain trinket box, oval shape, rust colored line around the border of the lid and around the box. The lid has a picture of three people on their knees (possibly ancient Greek). Two are bare chested women. The third figure on the right has a covered chest and a concealed face. They are washing an idol. One is offering a branch with leaves, one is praying and the third appears to be weeping. The idol is of a female figure which stands above them with a crown, a bare chest and a turban draped over its shoulders and a female face.
