Wedgewood Chinese Garden porcelain plate. The center has a water scene with water flowers and a weepy tree(?) in the foreground. Behind this are lilly pads and a continously curved bridge, the highest point being in the center. The bridge and reflection of the bridge in the water makes a full circle. In the background are trees and a tall oriental building. The rim of the plate has four small scenes. Top and bottom have the same scene of a Chinese stylized house surrounded by flowers. Left and right have the same scene of stylized fruit in a bowl on a pedestal with a bird to its right. Around each of these small scenes is a gold and red scalloped pattern connecting an inner flowerdelis pattern to an outer thin red line and then to a thick gold rim.
