Wedgewood Persian Garden porcelain plate. The center has a man kneeling in front of a man sitting in a boxlike struture. A stylized fence with a doorway leads to a background garden with buds, trees, and a person working. The rim of the plate has four small scenes. Top and bottom have the same scene of a deer-like animal with horns next to a weepy tree(?) and flowers. Left and right have the same scene of growing flowers with a bird sitting in them. Around each of these small scenes is a gold and red scalloped pattern connecting an inner flowerdelis pattern to an outer thin red line and then to a thick gold rim.
