Wm. H. Mersereau, Esq.,
New York
Dear Sir: -
The plans and specifications seem to be all right and you can go ahead. I will have the floor of carriage house cement, and over the cement boarding, excepting where the wash is. The fence and posts I want to have included in estimate, fence to be 5 feet high and like fence at R.R., gate posts 6 feet at top of ball, posts should not be too broad. I do not see any mention of removal of old buildings - should this not be noted?
Yours truly,
A.D. IrvingCollection
