Description

Off-white, gray-veined urn with lid: domed, 12 faceted top has two concave steps and a finial with the following turnings (from top to bottom): half an egg, cup, cylinder and flaring element; body of urn has 12 vertical facets and a groove running 1" from the top; turnings on the shaft as follows: three rings (from larger to smaller), cylinder, bottom-heavy reel, ring, S-shaped stepped base with rounded edge; rests on square base, iron rod runs through shaft; "Made in Italy" and unidentifiable letters and numbers scratched into bottom of base; "41" written on interior of lid and bottom of base in pencil.
