Curatorial Remarks

Note

The image in the image file is the printed version which appeared as a frontispiece to [The Author's Revised Edition?], which is a different version than the drawing. The dog MAY be Ginger, the pet that followed WI around the SS property and slept in a buffalo robe-lined box on the porch to guard the house at night. For Visions exhibition, packed in Crate #1.

General Note

Note

There is now a high-res scan of this in Curatorial: Images. Jessa opened the frame in order to scan the drawing 2/24/2021. The drawing is affixed with sticky cloth tape to mat from previous framing. Although museum glass was used, the tape will require conservation to remove. Jessa put drawing back into exhibition frame for protection and storage after scanning.
