Scope and Content

In this letter dated February 2, 1916, Teator states to have met Boice, who is anxious to sell his farm. Teator expressed that the asking price ($17,000) is too high, to which Boice asked Teator to invite Mead for a visit, as it is time for them to know each other. Boice “wants to sell” and claimed that a party from New York is considering his farm as well. Teator advises Mead to negotiate the price, as it including a fine orchard and can support a dairy. He and Mr. Brush would like Mead to join Red Hook.
