This infant boy’s tombstone is becoming more eroded by the decade. The very top reads “Little Georgie” and below that perhaps “infant son of Wm. & Martha Waldorf” but the dates have been lost to time. William Waldorf, son of William and Anna Martin, married Catherine VanDeusen, so this “Wm.” is probably John William, son of Christopher and Catherine Waldorf (who are buried in the same plot) and his wife Martha A., who were both born in 1830 and were married after 1850. She died in Red Hook at the home of her daughter, Martha A. Waldorf Curtis, on May 7, 1921, at 91 years of age.
