Farmhouse, c. 1885, owned by Henry W. Coon, who died in 1883. One of his sons may be the man seated on the front porch. His youngest son Alvin H. is perhaps the young man standing in the yard, to the right of his sisters Emily and Carrie. The main portion of the house built was c. 1868.The smaller eye-brow portion to the right dates from the mid-18th Century or earlier, when the farm was founded by Michael Pulver and his wife, Catherine Mohr. A date stone in the dry-laid foundation reads: M.P. - C.P. 1745.Photograph Details
