Original Massena: Built by John R. Livingston in 1797, this early photo shows the elegance of the house that was renowned as being one of the most beautiful places in the valley. Among its special features was a prized library with a soaring, glass-domed ceiling. The building was rebuilt and is located on the former campus of the Unification Church Theological Seminary, now Bard College. From the Rokeby Collection.Photograph Details
