Potts-Punderson House with Dutch Reformed Church sheds in the back, Upper Red Hook, c.1902-1904. Shed was used to shelter churchgoers' horses. Also known as John Potts House.
On back 'gave enlargement to Roger Leonard, Feb 1988.' This photo is from the glass-plate negative taken by W. S. Teator - see 2014.008.287.
Written on another enlargement: Was David Van Ness House in the early days. Was an Inn and post office. You can see the church sheds in the background as well as cemetery hill"

House was located on SE corner of Old Post Road and Starbarrack and burned down Sept 25, 1925.
John Potts House-Taken about 1902-1904 was the David van Ness House in the early days. Used as a Post office and Inn. You can see the Church sheds and in the background as well as the Cemetery Hill in Upper Red HookCollection
