Grange, Upper Red Hook Written on back "new Grange" Caption (for slightly different photo) from 'Brief History' reads: Red Hook Academy: This subscription school was built in 1822 by Philip Clum of Clermont, the builder of the Clermont Academy and bore a striking resemblance to the that historical building. When it burned in 1917, his grandson Philip rebuilt it. By 1900 it served as the Red Hook Grange. Losee Collection.
