Original deed in frame, May 1, 1875: Hannah Potts, wife of Peter H. Potts, sells 16 acre farm (later Wil-Hi Farm) to George Scism, for $2,000. The deed states that Hannah and her husband would retain lifetime rights to live on the west side of the farmhouse, and noted that “ all horses, wagons, sleighs, harnesses, and all farming implements should remain on the premises,” with the new owner agreeing to “use them and feed them and keep them in repair,”Photograph Details
