Teator house taken 2006. The house (48 Echo Valley Road) sits on the west bank of the Sawkill creek (and the west end of the bridge over the creek, which was built in 1924 to replace an earlier iron-truss bridge* and has two datestones:1797 (foundation outside wall) and 1794 (inside basement wall).
*The bridge was revamped in the 1990s, its guardrails changed and, unfortunately, its marble dedication stone reading "Teator Bridge, 1924, removed..Photograph Details
