The Ice House was one of the largest on the Hudson River. It Housed 165,000 tons of ice. The power houses, one on each end of the main building, were totally destroyed and much valuable machinery is now a heap of debris. In the background was the last of the dwellings to be destroyed. There was no insurance.Collection
