Description

Family group (Pulver family) at buffet dinner in Elmendorph Inn. "Dec 55" printed on border. #7 in Historic Structures Report. Notes from Dee Cormier: "Starting on the left side of the photo: 1 Standing in the doorway: Mable Pulver Merganthaler, holding her daughter, we believe that is Sarah. 2 Next to Mable is her husband Fred. 3 Next to Fred is Lottie Feller-Pulver. 4 The boy that has Grandma Lottie's hand on his arm is either John Coons or Donald Merganthaler. I am leaning towards John Coons. We don't know who the little boy is that he is holding. 5 The lady sitting in the chair is Evalena Pulver Hanlon. 6 The boy squatting in front of the table is Harold Bruggemann JR. 7 The man standing in the back in the white shirt is Ainsley Coons. The man and woman sitting in front of him is Aunt Louise Pulver Breazzano and her husband, Charles, (he owned Charlie's Pizza for many years in Red Hook.) 8 The lady and the man standing next to each other in the back are Jean Pulver Coons and Will Pulver. 9 The white or Blonde haired woman sitting at the table in the middle of this photo, I did not know, but my brother believes that it is Aunt Louisa Pulver Smith. Sitting to her left is my mother, Dolores Bruggemann Peterson, The gentleman next to her we believe is George Smith, Aunt Louisa's husband. The man sitting in the front holding the baby is my father Joseph Peterson and myself, Dolores Peterson Dore Cormier. We cannot forget the vicious dog next to me that I was deathly afraid of: Spotty. He was my Great Grandparents' dog. 10 The gentleman sitting with his back to the photo is my Grandfather, Harold Bruggemann. The gentleman next to him we believe is Raymond Feller, Grandma Lottie's brother and the lady with them we believe is Uncle Raymond's wife. 11 The lady sitting in the front of the photo on the right is my Grandmother Catherine Pulver Bruggemann. The two children in front of her are Aunt Enie's children, Charles Hanlon JR, his nickname was Bussy. The girl is Patty Hanlon Chin."
