Typewritten in black ink on the left side photo is "Eddie Whitby, Village President" and "Harry Hull, Engineer." Underneath that on the right is "Paving of Bloomingdale Anenue [sic]" also in black ink, with "Looking west to depot st." and "Work done by the city" underneath in red ink. "Harry J. Schramm 22 Slater Ave. Saranac Lake, N. Y. 12983" is stamped on the back of the photograph.
