Caption printed on front reads, "Saranac Lake, Adirondack Mountains." Handwritten message on front reads, "Dear Uncle Joshua: This is a picture of Saranac Lake Village. Quite a town, but when one is obliged to say here it does not seem so nice. I long for Old Amsterdam, also for a sight of Durham, and the good friends there. Write me sometime.
