Used, divided back, postmarked November 6, 1912, Saranac Lake, NY. Printed by the Leighton & Valentine Co. NY City. Printed caption on the front reads, "Main St., Looking South, Saranac Lake, N.Y." Handwritten message on the back reads, "Dear Lewis - Many thanks for your letter which came last night. Am feeling very much better and not so homesick thought I do want to see you all very much. Have gained 3 1/2 pounds in 8 days. I go down this street twice a week when I go down to see the doctor. Much love to you and [?]. Affectionately, Mother." Mailed to Lewis H. McLouth, 307 Hamilton St., Ypsilanti, MI.
