Used, divided back, postmarked October 1, 1912, Saranac Lake, NY. Printed by the Valentine & Sons Publishing Co. Ltd., New York and Boston. The printed caption on the front of the card reads, "Berkeley House, Main Street, Saranac Lake, N.Y." The handwritten message on the back reads, "My Dear sister B. Many thanks for postal. It is Sunday again and raining. I am able to go to Mass every Sunday, thank God for it. I am feeling very good. Last Tuesday I was 149 lbs. Next Tuesday I expect to be 150.
