There is white space at bottom for writing message. Printed caption on front reads, "Adirondack Cottage Sanatorium near Saranac Lake, N. Y." Used, undivided back, postmarked December 10, 1908. Printed by the Valentine & Sons' Publishing Co., Ltd., New York. Handwritten caption on the front reads, "Dear Cousin, We reached here in safety Thursday, found a nice home ready for us it is pleasant here and George is stronger than he was when we came write me a long letter and I will answer with love to all direct Ellen Dackstades, English Cottage."
