The old Harrietstown Town Hall, Riverside Inn, the original Saranac Lake High School, and the second St. Bernard's Church are visible, as is a portion of Lake Flower. Printed caption on the front reads, "Saranac Lake, N.Y. in the Adirondacks." Used, divided back, postmarked August 18, 1933, Saranac Lake, NY. Printed by C. T. American Art, Chicago. Handwritten message on the back reads, "Thank you so much for your letters I appreciated them a lot. My recovery has been very slow but I'll get there some day. This is a beautiful country. Everywhere you look there are mountains and they have already started to color. Remember me to your Misses. Sincerely, R. E. P." Mailed to Mr. Chas.
