Typewritten letter dated July 12, 1915 which reads, "Dr. Albert H. Garvin, Supt., New York State Hospital, Ray Brook, N.Y. Dear Sir, Your letter of July 9th received, and was very glad to hear that Mrs. Schuster was discharged from the Sanatorium, June 30th, but was sorry to hear that she had to have an operation. In that case, we will gladly allow for the expense until July 1st, for if she were in Schenectady we would have had to pay for her here, anyway. Please let me know whether or not they are coming to Schenectady, for if they do decide to locate here, we will do anything we can for them. We will either send them to Glendrige Sanatorium or have the Tuberculosis Nurses look after them in their homes. Hoping to hear from you, at your earliest convenience, in regard to this matter, I remain, Yours truly, Conrad Goetz, Commissioner of Charities."Collection
