Letter from Tarsilla Schuster to her mother and sister dated April 22, 1914. It reads, "My dearest Mother and Sister, I sincerely hope you are well, have not heard from you this week. Can't Nellie write me? I know you are busy with the dear babies. Just a card will do. I wrote to Mamie and Mattie last week. Mother I wrote in my last letter that I would like you to send my old corsets. I mean the dirty one that I left off just before I came up. My belt is over at Mattie's, in my white dresser and my (?) or Wills'. Have Nellie watch for sales on Union suits like I wear, two pr. low neck and very little sleeves. Something about 20 cents or 35 cents. Summer weight. I will send money in next letter. I have to go over to Dr. Garven's office for treatment every week. So you see my underclothes have got to be in good shape. The ones I have are so old and patched that they don't look well. The treatments are the same as Dr. Groesbeck started to give me. I received your last letter with dear Aunt (?) card and Mrs. (?). Just received a letter from Lillian. She says John talks a little and that Tarsilla is lovely. Always ready for a smile. Mother my dear, please do not worry about me, I am alright. Mother you can send my waist (?) Nona gave me. She (?) one. I can patch it here. It only needs a little under the one arm. If you have a little (?) send it along with the waist. You can send all the things in one pkg. Oh, my dears I miss you so much. I will write a letter in a day or so. Love and kisses to you all. Hugs and kisses to my dear babes. Your loving daughter and sister, Tarsilla. Give my love to dear Nona and (?) and Charles."
