Handwritten message on back reads, "Dear Aunt - the wind is trying to blow me off the piazza but I weigh 180 now and don't blow so easily. My couch, where I lie most all day, looks off across a ploughed field and a cemetery o a fine hillside covered with tall pines. I'm getting along very well. Love to Uncle Nicholas.
