Printed caption on front reads, "The Chapel, Adirondack Cottage Sanitarium, Saranac Lake, N.Y." Printed by the Valentine & Sons' Publishing Co., Ltd., New York. Used, divided back, postmarked Saranac Lake, December 15, 1908. Handwritten message on back reads, "12-15-09. Arrived here Sun. Am taking the fresh air cure, it is a pretty cold job this kind of weather, but guess will have to stand for it. Hoping you a merry Christmas. I am as ever, Roy. 31 Woodland Ave., Saranac Lake, NY."
